today is hot and cloudless as I make my way out of Thais to see the desert. There is a light breeze coming from the north that feels good and cools my heavy helmet as I walk. I think I will see if I can't get some lunch.
Log #2
It is the second day of my journey still no clouds but the temperature is a bit cooler as I near the bridge from which I will Leave King Tibianus realm. I am told that the desert is east of the bridge. I tried to buy a map from a shopkeeper along the way to see where the desert is but he told me he just sold the last one. Funny I didn't see anyone leave his shop.
Log #3
I am well passed the bridge and am nearing a river no sign of any travelers or creatures except a lonely wolf starving for food that attacked me. I felt sorry to leave his head lying where it fell but I had some meat and went on my way. The river is now going northward ad I am following it. I hope I soon reach the desert.
Log#4
I finally reached the desert the river gave way to a small pond and I walk around it and entered the desert from the north. I am not sure what to expect. As I move closer to what seems to be endless sands I see something in the distance. It's a type of monument or building where the sand burns and bubbles from an unknown source. There are some rocks covering something in the building but I decide not to move them I have heard stories....
Log#5
I keep walking and find another building with pillars white and statues on top. There are some stairs leading down. I walk down cautiolsy. Nothing, nothing but a room with a strange tile at the back and a counter. I stand on the tile but nothing happens. Confused I leave. I continue south until I reach a scorpion patch, which I kill. Further then I reach a lone minoutar guard. I think it strange he should be out here and not in his familiar tunnels and caverns. Like most do he attacks me and I am forced to take his life with 4 swift blows.
Log#6
I am somewhat thirsty now and take a flask from my satchel and drink. As I begin to put my flask away I look up only to see a lion hurdling toward me with muscles tense ready for a kill. I roll aside and pull out my firesword. The lion makes another charge. This one is cut short by my blade. I wound the lion a great deal. It lets out a roar and drops to the ground dead. I think I shall feast tonight on lion I have never tried it.

I start eastward and reach grassland and forest eventually. I am relived because the sands were begining to sting my sunburn face and I was thirsty. I sit next to a tree and drink from my flask when suddenly 2 bolts fly from behind trees and narrowly miss me. I move slowly forward only to meet what seems to be a minter army. In the forest! I hear a yell about some secret of death. I don't want to hear it so I run very fast away. I hope I reach Thais soon I have seen enough of these dangerous lands to suit me.
